      It’s so disappointing. 2 is set 25 years later. ERW is more age appropriate for that time jump, obvs. Joey King is 26. Maisie Williams 29. And they even look younger than their ages. So how has 25 years passed?

      It’s like Mae Whitman not being asked to do Independence Day 2 all over again!

      This is bullshit and comes off as blacklisting. Some child actors never really develop into adult actors and replacing them in a sequel makes sense. This absolutely cannot be said of ERW. She is a brilliant actor as an adult. It is so easy for the industry to set aside people who make waves or “start trouble”. It is also really easy for other actors who hold immense power to fight this and not let it happen. Side eying you, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

      Poor Evan. You can see how sad she is in her eyes and facial expressions. She deserved to be brought back and the fans wanted her back! The new movie should never have happened imo but definitely bot without Evan.

      I know this is blacklisting, I know this was personal.

      It makes no sense, the film looks like ass though and I was pretty upset they also got rid of the hot detective just so they could do yet ANOTHER romance storyline for Sandra Bullock’s character. ERW is too good for this sequel tbh.
