ugh… they totally made her look like dog shit in this movie…. I can't remember did her version have scales on her originally because I don't remember and feel the scales are from the Jennifer Laurence version…. they really did there best to uglify her in this film, I TRULLY hate Modern movies……

I can't blame her. Not only did every Mystique actress complain about the makeup but the 2000s were known for men sexualising female characters and many women were unhappy but had no voice. So, I can't blame her for wanting to embrace the costume but without it being a cleavage dress.

Jennifer Lawrence was good as Mystique, but Rebecca Romijn is the OG, so I love that it's her who's returning to the role.
I wanted to see Jennifer Lawrence so bad. People can say what they want. People have a tendency of always calling the first actor to play a character "GREAT?IRREPLACABLE/OG" stuff but I got news for you all. It doesn't always work like that. In Mystique's case for example, Jennifer Lawrence brought the character to life where we were able to know her full story and sympathize with her especially in Days of Future Past. Rebecca's version was just a sexy femme fatale who followed Magneto blindly…that's all. Trust me. This generation knows Mystique because of Jennifer, not Rebecca.
They need to stop killing characters and bringing them back like nothing happened. It's getting f-ing ridiculous.
She still looks REALLY good. So glad she was willing and able to come back for Doomsday.
