this shoot was so special to me for a multitude of reasons (🫀) but in large part because @grahamdunn asked me to wander about a huge airplane hanger and talk to him about my life. we ended up getting these very intimate and emotional shots because every time i would pose or perform in the way i have come to feel is expected of me at work, he would get really quiet and go back to our conversation in a hushed and thoughtful tone. i had never felt more like my 11 year old self at work, at the intersection of masculine and feminine and with all of the sadness you usually put on a shelf in a professional setting. unexpectedly emotional and healing to feel i can take up space as i actually am and see that i survive it. thank you @instylemexico for some of my favorite shots of all time 🏹
