when i heard these strings and this orchestra my heart scrunched up because i just felt this overwhelming love for music. hearing this arrangement and hearing those strings come in reminded me why i love MUSIC so much- there can be nothing more exposing or terrifying than just you and a piano. – but you have to remember that’s all it was at the beginning, and that’s why i wanted to do this. because i felt exposed and vulnerable and nervous and like i was 15 again, just singing to a song. music is MAGIC, and it’s moments where you feel that, like last night, that I live for. #amas2018
