Perfect timing Shallon! I’m switching careers from being a music teacher to working in tech. The music teacher salary wasn’t cutting it unfortunately 🙄 So far I’ve loved the career switch and it’s been the best thing for me. Previously, I spent my whole life dedicated to music so it’s definitely shocked some people. Here’s to making our own paths rather than following the one other people want for us!
Shal- can you do a video on how to write a book? How many hours a day did you dedicate to the book, AND also what were your steps to getting it published with a BIG 5 publisher?
I started my new career path last year, and I feel like I'm right where I need to be finally. I had to realize that I was keeping myself small and that comfortably wallowing was going to lead me nowhere. I can't imagine ever going back. I love it and the go-getter I've become so much!

I’m switching careers at 31 and quitting my past job/career was bittersweet. I was relieved as it was causing me so much stress and it wasn’t stable and sad because I had put so much sweat, tears and money in it. But I knew it was time to move on and I’m excited for this next chapter of mine 😅❤
