Hello everybody my name is luk mAh and this is hotland mode and today on hotland mode we are getting into all of the celebrity looks from the most recent okore spring 2024 Fashion Week now listen this is probably one of the best fashion weeks both okure and ready toare

That we’ve seen probably in the last four five years there were a lot of celebrities in attendance and I think it’s a pretty intriguing element to break down some of their looks and why they were more or less pretty important to not only bringing the attention to

The Ure schedule but also sort of exuding a designer’s vision and helping to sort of bolster the show in general so without further Ado let’s get into it first up we have Anna Taylor joy and she is wearing Dior cuz she is a Dior brand ambassador it’s a spaghetti strapped red

Lace dress and she has a a Shin length black boot on that she is showing off I don’t know why but okay listen I understand that a black boot is like a Maria Gracia Cur Staple in terms of product Sho wear do we need to like show

It I don’t know so here’s the thing about the dress though itself pretty blah pretty boring pretty uninteresting feel like this is a better suited look for a bunch of other things like a press day a cocktail party but I think when it comes to the O Couture sort of shows and

Salons again I haven’t been to one I’ve been invited I just haven’t been I do feel like there’s an element of the celebrities getting invited because the brands kind of want to show off to clients like oh look at these celebrities here it’s an event it’s a

Thing to do we want you to come we want you to enjoy it and then come shop after and so I get why you know an’s there and I get why a lot of celebrities art Dior and all the other shows but I also think

Maybe you want to do a little bit more like bold beautiful to really give the clients their money’s worth and I just think that this feels a little pedestrian which is kind of boring which sucks too she not a pedestrian girl she’s a fashion girl I’m kind of bored

By it and I also think we’ll get to Rihanna later but like if Rihanna can show up and serve a look into yor it’s possible I know that’s a highest standard to put on anybody but like it’s possible next up we have Divine Joy Randolph who is wearing scaparelli

Honestly I like this we’ve been seeing a lot of divine at the award shows and she’s been doing a lot of very sort of body conscious styles with different accents to different areas of the body whether it’s the bus like peplums to accentuate the waist and all that but I

Like seeing her in a little nice sort of wide like trouser in black and this silky sort of scarf blouse it’s Chic I think it’s elegant I love the way that it sort of dips down a little bit in the front it has the gold sort of clasps I

Love the oyster necklace if that’s what that is or if it’s an ear but if that’s an ear it’s a cauliflower year and so not that you should get that checked out but like H but if it is an oyster necklace I love that even more I think

An oyster shell is beautiful they filter water well so we stand oysters in this household but I think that it’s a nice easy breezy casual take on scaparelli wear and at the same time it’s not like the dress that we just saw where it’s so pedestrian and boring there’s like some

Element of design to it in terms of the shape of the blouse the gold buttons that run up the side of the blouse you know the styling with the gold and I just I think it’s a little bit more interesting than just your normal casual pedestrian wear it’s not Tut two out

There ofen card but at the same time I also like to see scaparelli dressing plus-sized women because it’s not that I don’t think we see a lot of that but I think we could see more of that and I think Divine is a good example of getting to see that so crossing my

Fingers and also like maybe this is like a little sign that we can get a scapelli moment for the Oscars next up we have Diana Agron in Armani pre and here’s the thing I like an Armani pre I do usually it’s kind of boring this recent collection I didn’t

Think was that that boring but at the same time like it’s always made well you can be more conservative if you know how to make a garment look beautiful you know how to craft it wonderfully and Armani does so we have this white it’s not embellished it seems to be some sort

Of silk that’s been maybe heat manipulated or something to create these sort of waves and crinkles in the fabric but at the same time it’s in a trellis Motif as well there are these sort of diamonds that come in and sort of layer themselves on top of each other and then

It seems to be piped just ever so subtly in maybe like a sequin or I think it probably is a sequin in silver then it’s paired with a pair of black velvet trousers and again I do think that rmania knows how to make black velvet always look good and it’s pretty much a

Staple I would say of armoney pre and I like the trouser normally when we talk about armman pre I feel like it’s usually a much older clientele and I don’t think that that’s a bad thing because I think it’s Sheek and it’s cool and it’s pretty fashion forward for

Somebody that is maybe older and doesn’t feel like oh I can wear the sexy Slinky Styles or oh I should be showing off so much body but at the same time I think the fabrication I think that the use of color material all that does feel very

Modern and Chic and sort of Forward Thinking I also am intrigued to see it on somebody that is a bit younger than who who else Armani PR dressed for this show and who we will be talking about because pretty positive it’s GL close and gwenth palro in that regard maybe

It’s not Glenn Close I’m pretty positive that it’s like gwenneth peltro not that gwenneth is like older but I think they also dress Glenn Close and other people and so I’m just intrigued to see it on somebody younger who I don’t think is maybe necessarily the usual or average

Armani PR client but I think she looks good and I think again in the context of Armani PR it’s really nice fits well it’s beautiful it’s intriguing texturally in both elements it doesn’t feel too matchy matchy like I think it works next up we have Elizabeth dicki

She is wearing Christian to War I don’t know what it is for Elizabeth dicki I don’t get it and I think it’s even harder because like she’s Elizabeth dicki and so I’m like she’s perfect you know what I mean she is the quintessential I think woman that

Fashion brands want to dress she’s tall thinner she’s statuesque all those things that I think makes it easy to do everything in terms of a fitting I’m not saying that other people aren’t beautiful or other body types aren’t beautiful I’m just saying I think from a fashion brand perspective it’s not a

Hard jump from a sample style to put it on somebody like Elizabeth dicki and be you know having to do a lot of custom work or anything like that and so I guess I’m always confused why things look like this the wideleg trouser I maybe it’s the stance but I don’t I

Don’t get it I don’t love it it’s not great and then the shirt like the shirt fine but again like pedestrian and I know that that’s kind of Dior lately I get it but that doesn’t mean that I have to like it especially on Elizabeth Vicki

You played Princess Diana I need more I need a little more intuitive fashion sense and taste next up we have Florence Pew wearing Valentino it’s not a chiffon or a tool or anything like that so thank you but again it’s so simple it’s so uh and I also think with Valentino it’s a

Brand that like when you look at those okur collections they are beautiful whether or not you feel like you’ve seen it a million times or you haven’t they are stunning the use of color blocking truly a miraculous Vision PPO knows how to do things like that and so I guess I

Just wonder why most of Florence’s like custom styles are usually monochrome like this black dress it listen it’s a beautiful dress I think it fits her really really well I love the sort of asymmetrical neck which normally I don’t but I think that it works here I think

The Gold Everywhere from the earrings to the jewelry to even just the hardware that sits and creates this sort of Frain in Black whatever silk crepe if this is what that is it all works together it’s a beautiful dress you know what I mean it’s a beautiful commercial dress

Anybody could pick it up off the rack and wear it and I think that it would look good fitted and tailored properly I don’t know it’s kind of blah I kind of I seen it I know her and it’s not that I don’t want to know her it’s just like

We’ve met and the conversation’s kind of nice cordial but am I like oh she’s the one I want to talk to she’s not and so I want Florence to be put in something that I want to talk to that I want to spend hours an hour just staring at

While I dream about her it’s sad I just want a little more drama next up we’ve went with ptro she’s wearing Armani PR again it’s a pretty simple Black Velvet pant I’m sure they sell a lot of simple black velvet pants but also like I like

The black velvet pants as for the jacket that’s kind of we where the Intrigue and interest comes in seems to be some sort of matte silky crepy Matty jacket and then there’s details of reflectiv silk that goes in sort of pipes the placket which is running down here a little

Maybe pocket and then bands across the waist and at the sleeves which kind of meet up together which I think is kind of cute and at the collar as well also something about the shoulders are very sort of high which I think is really intriguing as well like there’s a dip in

Between the neck and the shoulder I think and then they sort of round up it’s intriguing again is it simple is it kind of boring is it not really interesting absolutely 100% but at the same time I think when we look at Armani I’m not looking at Armani to be a kind

Of crazy big dazzling experience do I wish that we were maybe getting a little bit more of the Intriguing embroideries textiles motifs from the runways on the celebrities absolutely I do but you know I’m not really expecting it I do think gwenith looks good I think it looks nice

But is it also very forgettable and I will never think about this moment ever again sure next up we have Heart Evangelista who is wearing Dior she seems to be wearing some sort of full tweet Ensemble if you don’t know har she is the Filipino socialite she’s wearing

This very long floorlength kind of frock coat which I respect honestly and then a differing Tweed sort of knit sweater I believe it’s a turtleneck of some sort and it doesn’t differ too too much because it still has a sort of black and white coloring which I think works well

With the rest of the look and then some sort of I guess it’s a skirt that intriguingly enough I don’t think it’s the lighting I think it’s actually the maybe the Tweed weave the Tweed weave seems to have differing white Shades in there cuz the majority of the white

Shade is almost like a bluish tint to it but then as we look on the skirt there’s kind of like a diagonal band that has a more yellowish white shade and then right below it there’s an even I would say more blue shade going on and it’s a

Band and then it returns back to I think that yellower shade but it seems like the jacket also co- insides cuz I can see little elements of the different coloring bands of the Tweed going across as well maybe this is from a Dior collection I haven’t seen it I do think

It’s quite sweet I do think it looks good I don’t know if heart is there as brand ambassador or celebrity or client I’m unsure but I do think that it looks quite nice and it’s very different I would say from the majority of the Dior things that I feel like we see it

Doesn’t have a big waist belt there’s elements of somewhat intriguing weaves going on it’s awes to Tweed revolutionary no but at the same time does feel like a little bit more intriguing or at least a little bit more different than we’re used to seeing from

Dior so I think I’m going to take it all right we’re finally getting somewhere though actually kind of interesting now here’s the thing we have Hunter Schaefer wearing scaparelli scaparelli as always does a pretty good job when it comes to celebrity dressing we can see that Hunter is wearing this pretty I’m going

To say four scaparelli simple black and gold Style again it’s scaparelli so there’s a different level of what I consider commercial for the brand versus sort of avant guard for the brand people were dragging me for my scaparelli review oh you know it’s not commercial I think that there are elements of

Scaparelli that are more commercial than others and so if a collection compared to a previous one feels more commercial I’m going to say it feels more commercial cuz it just does comparing scap relli to Dior I wouldn’t call scaparelli Commercial but comparing scaparelli collections against each other I would say some are more

Commercial than others to me this feels like a dress that again anybody could kind of pick up and if it’s tailored right if it fits her well it could look really beautiful it’s a black velvet bodice with a v-neck plunge and it really does plunge and then a silk

Wrapped and draped skirt skirt she’s wearing little black stockings and a nice pair of scaparelli gold toe pumps and I believe that maybe they’re lubaton for scaparelli I didn’t realize that lubaton actually does shoes for a bunch of the Ure Brands I know that they do

Them for Marella I only just found that out and so I assume maybe because there’s the red bottom we’re seeing the the scapelli version but maybe they don’t do it I’m unsure should I research that more absolutely but the big gold Lily stargazer lily sort of ornamental

Neck piece I think is beautiful I think it’s lovely and I think with Hunter lately she’s been doing a lot of looks that to me are very very beautiful they’re really really wonderful but they’re also quite AV on guard they’re quite out there they have a concept they’re quite intelligent and heady and

I think that here well yes this is in most people’s normal sort of hot sexy you know simple easy dressing I think for Hunter this is that and I love it because a it’s still intriguing and intelligent and fun and referential and wonderful but she also looks beautiful

She looks stunning it’s a really easy Style on her I I just think that this is her version of like oh I’m going to be like you know hot and it’s not trying to be out there too strange or too you know o what is that and I respect that and I

Think that’s fun and I think that’s nice to see every once in a while from her as well now next what we have to talk about Jennifer Lopez I think that was one of the most shocking looks from the scaparelli runway and you know JLo is

JLo but to be able to compete with Zinda showing up to scaparelli in terms of interest and Intrigue it’s not an easy feat I would say for anybody but JLo is wearing from what we can see this beautiful white coat which everybody was kind of like oh it’s a white faux flower

Coat but then scaparelli and JLo revealed that this is in fact actually a coat made up of actual white rose petals which I’m really intrigued by cuz I can’t tell if they must have treated the rose petals Maybe maybe they treated them with like a a resin some sort of

Plastic some sort of something maybe so that they will last stand the test of time CU obviously with rose petals they eventually will sort of brown and wither and fall away I also find it very very interesting because is this not the idea of the Met Gala that we’re seeing which

Is the Sleeping Beauties and garments that maybe can’t be worn or garments that something has to be done to them in order to conserve them yada yada I I just found it very intriguing the other thing is besides the fact that this is made up of however many tens of

Thousands of white rose petals that somebody because it’s oore had to have hand done which again I can’t imagine like threading one rose pedal and sewing it onto something but I can’t imagine doing what tens of thousands of them when we look at the back of the coat it

Only gets better because we can see this beautiful silver sequin sunfacile to the feeis cape which Elsa scaparelli did I believe for her winter 1938 collection and it was this beautiful sort of take on Apollo and Sun gods and astrology astronomy mythology yada yada and I just think it’s really

Cool to see that iconic scaparelli Motif recreated on this very sort of organic material because they must have put the sequence I guess on the Roses or maybe it’s the roses are layered so that they don’t you know overtake the sequ I don’t know how they did it but again I just

Think it’s that wonderful SCA riness where it’s so crazy that they did it I do think the black stockings work well think the turtleneck is fine I think it’s a good JLo look the coat in and of itself is the moment and it is certainly the moment now Jennifer Lopez did

Reappear at Ellie Saab and she wore this beautiful gathered green gown I actually really quite frankly like it on her I think it works I think it’s lovely I think the color really pops and then she’s wearing not my favorite moment but the little silver belt I I don’t love

That I think that the drape and the Gathering should really you know do that for itself but the other thing though that really kind of makes it intriguing and beautiful and also maybe like a Jennifer Lopez reference to herself is this gorgeous faux flower Cape I believe

That the flowers are made up of all feathers all different colors green purple pink and it is beautiful it looks like a tropical bouquet that’s been just draped all over her body and I do like the you know continuation of the floral theme I think it’s Chic I think the Cape

Is lovely on her I think the purple and the pink really pop but the use of the green feathers also sort of ties everything back in it doesn’t take away too much from the dress underneath cuz I do think the dress is rather lovely overall I think it’s very chic Jennifer

Lopez moment the last JLo look Valentino it’s a pretty simple black dress but the element of intrigue is these little sort of silver bows that sit on the shoulder and then little silver piped cutouts that run down the sleeves listen I’ll take two out of three being great good

Solid moments this one pretty forgettable pretty un interesting but as we’ll also see it seems like a lot of the Valentino VIPs were all dressed in black and so considering the looks I think this is I guess fine but I also just want more interesting more intriguing more colorful Valentino

DNA Styles I’m not saying that like cutouts and things like that aren’t it’s just there’s not much to work with next up we have Jordan Woods we J PA goate and I know what you’re going to say you’re going to say Luke that is awful and like I don’t completely disagree but

Pretty positive is a gotier reference I understand where it’s coming from do I know the exact season no but I’m pretty positive this is a reference it’s this lace and it seems to be some sort of sheer black lace top at the same time it is covered in faux flowers on the

Shoulders and at the hip area creating like a faux peplum and like I do appreciate that Jordan is trying you know she’s going there I respect it I also just think that even with the reference it’s ugly sometimes things are ugly to me and I I just I think it’s

Ugly unfortunately from a distance it looks like it’s maybe like Little trash pieces sort of glued on I get it I understand where it’s coming from I still don’t like it that sucks for everybody involved I appreciate her trying and making the attempt some things even when you try still an F love

Jordan for the work appreciate her a for effort I hate the look of it I don’t want to look at it anymore so let’s move along next up we have Kim Kardashian who wore this maon Marella black fitted gown it’s a spaghetti strap black gown not really too special in terms of

Silhouette it fits her very well which I would expect from the margel team and specifically galano but what we can see is kind of the Intriguing motif of the dress is the fact that there are a bunch of holes which look like polka dots to a

Degree that run from the bust down and sort of nip in the waist and then fall down on the hips and sort of continue to the Hem of the dress and this is something that John gallano I’m pretty positive has been doing at Morella for

At least the past what 3 to four years now it’s this technique of essentially cutting out these little holes kind of making polka dots in and of themselves into the dress but instead of cutting out the hole and then taking the little pieces remnants of fabric and throwing

Them away or utilizing them for something else rather they don’t actually cut the hole out the entire way so the little holes and circular pieces of fabric actually remain on the dress and as the wearer moves they flap and sort of create this idea of movement now I’m pretty positive that Marella did

Something I’m not going to say similar but I think what gallano sort of based it on which was for maybe like a 199 1991 Marella collection he took sort of Slinky fitted dresses and then he just sort of cut vertical lines in them and so as the model moved or as the dress

Moved the lines would sort of create like diamond motifs in they stretched in different parts depending on what part of the body was sort of filling them out and so it created this really intriguing cutout aesthetic that is rather not Ure and super finely done but rather more so

A kind of idea of deconstruction and the Marella ethos I have to say genuinely I do think that it’s a smart look for Kim I think it fits very much of the brand identity that she always goes for and the Silhouettes and styles that she’s

Always going for but at the same time I think the technique is now a signature sort of John gallano at Marella technique and I do think it looks good I love the idea of the movement from the dress not coming from the fabric itself but rather what is actually done to the

Fabric in order to create this not really super front of Mind idea of thinking about the way that fabric can move I do think that in reality again like I’m not a Marella expert but I do think that it carries in ties into the history of Marella the the idea of

Deconstruction and the idea of playing on fabrics and sort of taking these Avant guard ways of working manipulating deconstructing reconstructing materials to create a newish effect and so I do like it I don’t really know if I love the necklace with it that’s not my

Favorite but I like the dress next up we have Kylie Jenner who is wearing Jean Paul gotier now this is a custom style I believe designed in tandem with Simone Rosa I don’t want to say that that’s necessarily true because I don’t know but I’m pretty positive it is now it’s

Essentially a corset a fitted corset that sort of becomes like a dress in a sense it’s like a corset dress cuz it nips in at the waist we can see all of the lines and the seams for the boning details and at the same time it covers

The hips it moves down and sort of creates a cocktail short length what’s really intriguing and it’s the reason that I think maybe it’s more so a Simone Rosa idea is there is this draping at the bust line that sort of then creates an overlayer of fabric and sort of adds

Length to it hitting around the foot area and we can also see that Kylie’s shoes are the shoes that were shown on the runway they are these sort of plexiglass stilettos but it also looks like she’s wearing a tow ring with this sort of pearl on it which I love and

We’ll do a Simone Rosa goate video I promise and we’ll talk about it more but something that I did find really really interesting listening to Simone talk about the collection is that she wanted to focus on the bust it’s something that she normally focuses on but at the same

Time she was really intrigued by the idea of the busts of the actual clients of Jean Paul gotier it was really taken with them and so there’s a big focus of the bust area being what Simone was looking at and so I think that’s made maybe what we’re seeing here with the

Sort of draping coming out of the bus line and sort of all stemming from there listen it’s not my favorite Kylie Jenner look whatsoever but I do think it’s intriguing I do like the idea of her continuously sort of working with gotier as a brand and you know working with the

Designers that are co-creating these collections season after season I also like the idea of Kylie wearing Simone Rosa I think it’s very different again for her brand and I would like to see more of that because I think that Simone is a very potent designer who makes really intriguing styles that are still

Very inherently feminine but at the same time don’t sort of follow this male Gaye idea of how women should look and dress and I think that’s a maybe intriguing dichotomy to me for Kylie Jenner I do like it again not radical but I definitely think that it’s her trying to

Fit into the aesthetic of this collection very much so and I do love the shoes now as for Kylie’s look for Marella listen I do think that the reflective pette dress it fits her again phenomenally like they know how to fit to her body and I do think that it is a

Great dress just by itself it fits phenomenally I can’t say that it doesn’t and I do like the fact that she’s wearing the margel by lubaton heels which we talked about earlier the Petes themselves not really super radical not really super intriguing but again I think that if a brand can really truly

Create something that fits to the person’s body specifically like that I got to give it up for them because even though a lot of brands do okure it doesn’t always seem like they are fitting for celebrities the thing that I did really really love though is the gloves I think they’re

Very chic I love these beautiful little Tulie chiffon gloves they’re lovely I think the blue color is great I love the way that they sort of scrunch and sort of rou and ruffle themselves up and then on top of it I just kind of love the

Idea of the Marella label with the sort of numbers on it and the white stitches being on the back of the hands I just think it’s like Chic and elegant and I want a pair of them so yeah I don’t know I didn’t I really didn’t hate the look I

Think there’s a lot of elements that I do think really really work again is it the best look Kylie’s ever wor no but I do think it’s one of the best fitted Styles I’ve ever seen on Kylie Jenner and lastly we have Kylie Jenner showing up to Valentino again black dress pretty

Simple this one I don’t really think the the dress fit super duper well I think maybe it’s possibly The Stance but it just seems like it’s bunching up a little bit at the waist and I don’t really love that now do I think the cape with the black feathers on it is

Gorgeous absolutely 100% And like listen stormmy I know she’s a kid she’s very cute she looks great happy for her that’s all I’m going to say about stormy just think in general it’s kind of blah blaz but I also just think having looked at each of the looks of the celebrities

That were attending the show I don’t think there was a big push for them to really stand out and and so I’m intrigued by that the feather jacket’s nice but again I think this is weak uninteresting not memorable speaking of weak sauce Natalie Portman Christian Dior no sorry again listen Natalie great

She did her moment 2024 I really don’t need much else from her CU I think she just she served it up in that Dior ombre floral flower Meadow dress but at the same time the black blazer and the waist coat and the little pair of shorts it’s

Unfortunate I think it’s a little too casual for me I don’t get it it seems to be a lot of the way that the brands were addressing celebrities in certain cases so like I’m not super duper angry at Celebrities per se the outfit I’m very mad at cuz again press day getting

Coffee going to lunch dioro cure show I don’t know I’m not sure and also like it’s cold out and I know that designers usually dress people in not the season that they wear and I get it but like this in particular I’m like H it’s cold out maybe something else would have been

Much more appropriate thank you next up we know Osiris who is wearing Robert one I love this I love that she showed up to Robert one I love that she’s wearing this beautiful pum gown I love that she’s wearing this sort of shrug style as well I think it’s fantastic I think

The fit is great you know Robert one is known for his God day peplum Styles and I just think that to get to see it is always lovely I like the mermaid cut on her I think it fits her really really well she wore a headpiece love a

Headpiece shout out to Noah I think that she definitely is letting herself be embodied by the brand that she’s wearing I think that’s a smart thing for celebrities to do especially at the okur shows like this is the time to give fantasy this is the time to give
