Yes he was 18.. but not all 18 year olds have the same life. I’m sure with his mother he entered an adult consciousness well before adulthood and saw who the girls and women were in his families circles. Yes a huge age difference but not unlikely in this set up.. or uncommon if the sexes were switched. At least they respected each other and gave each other room to grow in their own circumstances. I never thought I’d say it in the beginning, but I somehow like them together.
