Dressed in a white suit, Dave (Eddie Murphy) appears to be a polite, middle-aged man in modern New York City, but who would have thought that this very real-looking “man” is actually a humanoid spaceship with a number of quarter-inch-tall alien villains who come to Earth to find a way to save their planet, only to have their adaptation to life on Earth tested to the limit. They come to Earth to find a way to save their planet, but they are first put to the test of adapting the ship to life on Earth, and after a bunch of trouble, the ship falls in love with a beautiful Earth woman named Gina (Elizabeth Banks), and the alien people are getting off course.
