Are OLIVIA RODRIGO’S Crumbl cookies worth the hype?

    ✨Recipe:
    Cookies:
    ½ cup Softened Butter
    ½ cup Caster Sugar
    1 Egg
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 cup Flour
    1 tsp Sea Salt

    Icing:
    ½ cup Softened Butter
    2 cups Powdered Sugar
    2 tbsp Heavy Cream
    1 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract

    Directions:
    1. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter and caster sugar using a hand mixer. Mix together until fluffy.
    2. Add in your room temperature egg and vanilla extract, and combine. Then sift in your flour, sea salt, and purple food coloring.
    3. Portion the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 300°F for 10-15 mins.
    4. While still warm, cut out stars in half the cookies and cool completely. Once cooled, put in the fridge to chill.
    5. To make the icing, cream ½ cup butter and then combine with powdered sugar. Once combined, add in your heavy cream and vanilla extract, and mix!
    6. Assemble the cookies by spreading triple berry jam on the insides of a whole cookie, then using a piping bag, layer the vanilla icing in a circular motion around the edges of the cookie. Sandwich a star cookie on top and dip with sprinkles
    7. Serve and enjoy!! 😊
