    Kim Kardashian has written a personal essay in which she is advocating for the release of the Menendez brothers who are currently serving life sentences for the murder of their parents. In the essay, published by NBC News on Oct. 3rd, she writes, “The trial and punishment these brothers received were more befitting a serial killer than two individuals who endured years of sexual abuse by the very people they loved and trusted.” Erik and Lyle Menendez were sentenced to life in prison for the murders of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez in 1989. According to the Los Angeles district attorney, prosecutors are now reviewing the case in light of new evidence that surfaced. The evidence is a letter written by Erik that his attorneys say corroborates the allegations that he was sexually abused by his father. The case was put back in the spotlight after Netflix’s release of “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” a drama based on the case.

      I’m old enough to remember this trial..These are (2) brothers that committed a premeditated murder rather than move out and live their ADULT lives (which also would have cost them a significant inheritance🤦🏽‍♀️). Many people are abused that do NOT commit murder…this is setting a horrible precedent!!!
      If these were (2) black or brown men, people would have demanded that they get thrown UNDER the jail🤷🏽‍♀️…so many black and brown men are serving life sentences for FAR LESS egregious crimes.
      They’re fortunate that they did not get the death penalty. KEEP THEM LOCKED UP FOR LIFE!!!🙅🏽‍♀️

      If the father did abuse the younger brother which I personally don't believe that happened…How do you justify killing your mother….If they get released.. Netflix will be responsible…And everyone subscribed to Netflix should cancel….The movie on Netflix isn't even the true story…..They are premeditated cold blooded murders…..Who just wanted the money….

      Kim Kardashian is not a lawyer & is in no position to demand anything! They have been found guilty of double homicide & deserve to spend the rest of their lives in prison. She should stick to what she knows having plastic surgery on her face & body & taking selfies of the results!
