I swear, Hollywood made me believe that you had to stay in contact with exes and reach out and that meant you were "evolved". As I've grown up, this is so wild to me. Once we break up, I do not ever want to see you or talk to you or be a "friend" of yours. Oh, how we keep ourselves stuck.
