Las lanzas no se llevaban para llevar banderolas , para cargar debajo del brazo la espada era muy secundaria esa era caballeria medieval pesada el golpe de la punta de la lanza entre el caballo y su jinete era de 600 a 700 kilos de golpe no valía nada ni escudo ni poder desviarlo , atravesabas al enemigo y mientras pasabas soltabas la lanza del cuerpo para clavarla en otro cuerpo o formar para hacer otra carga , la espada muy poco se usaba
