It’s very obvious from her actions that she does not take DV seriously. Watch all the promo videos from the movies. Wear your florals and bring your girls… She’s cracking jokes. Ryan is interviewing the other male character (Atlas) acting jealous about his scenes with his wife. They tried to tie Deadpool into it somehow. Marketing her other projects (hair and alcohol). She never read the book. tell me you’re not serious about a project without telling me you’re not serious. Go and watch Justin’s promotional interviews, he’s actually discussing the topic of DV and how he wanted to tell this story in a respectful way.

Lively is truly B list (or below, I've personally NEVER watched her in anything but one movie). I think she's so upset because in her mind, IEWU was going to launch her into A list status just like her bestie, just like Deadpool did for her husband, and it didn't happen for her. In fact, this fiasco may put Blake Lively right on the Hollywood blacklist. Right where she belongs.
We have to be real, Blake has a career because of her husband. She is not Scarjo or Kate Winslet, she doesn't do that level of work. How did she even get casted for this movie? She's not even the right age! Taylor maybe alot of things but I just know that she's not happy being used like this, that's not her brand.
He should have stood his ground and hired a 20 something actress. It would have made much more sense for the DV aspect, for the man to choose someone much younger and struggling financially. It takes a lot less strength of character for someone with almost 40 years of experience, a good business and who comes from money to cut a bad relationship.
I finally watched the movie. It is terrible! I kept pausing the movie to see how much time we had left. The first hour was torture. She definitely isn't a good enough actress to pull off this role. Not certain Baldoni is that good of a director, either.
I love the deflection "oh Sony controlled the marketing". No, Blake dictated how she wanted the marketing to go and Sony endorsed and allowed it.

It's spetacular as it is bafling, because we can't relate to that level of ego and self-entitlement that clouds a person's judment. They are in a loose/loose position and they know it: A) go to trial and have Blake (prove SH accusations) and Ryan (explain Nicepool), publicists (explain doctored texts) and celebrities (explain pressure campaign), take the stand or; B) Pay out-of-court on a US$400 million lawsuit. The longer it drags the worse for Blake/Ryan brands, projects and eventual settlement. Justin should come out on top big time.
