      Y'all are so dumb she is a vocalist and she had to sing opera in wicked so she has to pitch it up. I'm working with a vocal coach and she's recommended I do that

      Didn't Michael Jackson do the same thing? I heard his voice is actually lower but it's always soft and higher pitch during interviews.

      I have a friend that was like this … always changing how they talked … because they were always trying to fit in and never found confidence of their true self …. Maybe that could be a thing with her … starting the industry so young and being pushed to sale a certain image .. maybe she never had time to grow into who she should be ? Idk I’m probably wrong lol lol lol

      Madonna had an English accent from Michigan. I was born in Michigan and that accent is not an English accent.
      I think Ariana is just trying to find her real voice for showbiz but she should try to find her real voice for her authentic self. Since we have heard her speak with different tones and slangs we , the public, are just confused.

      Its not the pitch, she sounded like a black girl. The internet called her Blackiana. Its the same when that actor played Elvis. Ariana is the same now. She has the voice and expression like Glinda now. But she is a whooooole different person man

      Omg. after watching ALLLLLLL OF YOUR VIDEOS ever nite and especially the out of body experience I had going thru all 30 or more Lively Baldoni vidz ubdropped this weekend in order!!!! (i went off the timestamps) …. u am so furious about that whole situation. i have u on in kitchen tv on YouTube watching yer Ariana vid …. I've noticed what you are talking about.. You always tell things so well and saasy… snarky and animated.. but u literally almost made me shit my pants I had to run to the bathroom… haven't laughed that hard a lil over 2 minutes into the video. man yer good

      Singers definitely adjust their speaking voice to help with vocal strain. But even if she did change her voice, really who cares. Child actors in particular deserve a break. They have been picked apart and received so much analysis and hate over the dumbest things their whole life. She has an amazing voice. Maybe it took awhile to figure out how she wanted to present herself. People should be allowed to go through stages. Just look at pictures of Ariana lately, the hate takes a toll on body image and mental health.

      This is the truth and 100% true in the vocal training world. She is also trained to the voice of her character (for almost two years) and has practiced proper diction and enunciation. All of these change your speaking voice, especially with intense training and work.

      I like her. She’s young and she can do what she wants obviously she has a great voice so who cares? I mean Britney got away with lip syncing all her career. At least Ariana can sing.
      The girl can sing let her do what she wants to do. She’s a talent. A real talent.

      She was probably ordered to lose the 'blackcent' to be more commercial for the worldwide film press tour. The last thing she needs on top of her husband stealing scandal, is being accused of cultural appropriation.

      Why can’t she just admit that she was just embodying a different vibe/personality aesthetic based on her album era, similar to how we subconsciously mirror people’s accents if we spend enough time talking to them. It’s normal and natural but doubling down shows how insecure she is.

      She seems to change her personality and voice and look when "going through a faze". She changes often with people she's dating etc. Now she's in her Broadway star era 😂 No shade, she's just growing up but she's a little chameleon for sure!

      She is a mimic, look at all the impressions she does, and then Cat from Vitorious had a high pitched voice. When she was gangsta she put on a voice too. Its just normal to her now plus she is trying to get back in the publics good graces and have a good award season so she is trying to be a sweet little disney princess but she is in her 30s now. Like sex in the city aged season one with as much drama with men. Just another Hollywood weirdo really.

      She's always been a Chameleon with her impressions, and the popular diva knows the industry, and the power reinvention has on said industry. The reason why she's holding on to the Glenda voice even post premiere could be for any reason. Hell, maybe she's really proud of this film and doesn't want to close that chapter for her just yet. Who knows. I'm not an Ari fan, but she did nail the role. This is a nothing burger. 🍔

      According to vocal health experts, pitching your voice slightly higher can sometimes help preserve it by putting less strain on your vocal cords, especially if you naturally speak at a very low pitch; however, consistently speaking in a very high pitch can also be detrimental and should be avoided.

      What does she need to preserve her voice for, she’s not performing. Taylor outperformed her last year and had the same voice the whole time. But I do love her and she is kooky, just waiting for the blond hair and brows to go 😄

      lol no I do not buy this. Go back and listen to the way she used to speak and it was exactly the way people describe it. She used more slang and soul, and her talking voice was more deeper and lower, now her voice is more prim and proper and the tone is higher.
