Well the “standard” flight pattern of the helo was unsafe!!

They need to stop saying that the plane collided with the Blackhawk when it’s clear from the footage that the helicopter flew into the plane.

It is clear that the army and the airport has a lot to answer for. No way should the paths ever cross esp at a busy airport- looks like fat bureaucrats just OK with status quo when procedures need to be consistently monitored. A pilot said it’s a tough airport to fly into, it shouldn’t be. We have $. We can’t put everything on the pilots. My prayers for the families and no it was not OK to ask to see his texts, he was clearly in a state of shock. The reporter should be reprimanded.

This man was just living his normal life, at the airport waiting for his wife… The most shocking thing in the world happens and this journalist takes advantage of it and shares one of his most horrific moments for her prosperity. There is a line.. It was one thing to speak to him, the way she said can we see her text… With her knowing more than he knew at the moment just makes me nauseous. It disgusts me. Not only does our media spend 24 hours a day pushing propaganda, race baiting, emotional manipulation rather than news.. but they have lost their morality as well. Just demolish it and start again. Pitiful.

Not a standard flight pattern is it. On the landing card it says helicopters should be no higher than 200ft. He was at 300 something

Last part of the report stated both aircrafts were on regular flight paterns. Granted that they were, why would the FAA allow more than 1flight pattern on the same altitude, given that it is quite vast up there (just genuinely wondering, not as a slight to anyone)… my sincerest condolences to everyone who've lost their dearly loved ones in this tragedy 😰💗😔
