i’m so proud of you sometimes people say that and they’re like instead of being like i’m so happy for you or i’m so excited for you like i’m so proud of you and it’s almost it’s like that condescending i understand but i i’ve actually made it a habit to tell myself i’m proud of myself because i think we’re like taught that if you say those things to yourself that it means you’re narcissistic or egotistical or selfish or whatever and so i actually i think having pride is different than having a big ego so so i accept that good because i am not be for any other reason other than like when you see somebody grow like so proud of i’m proud of like the work that you put into yourself like i’m proud of your journey i’m proud of you for sharing it in the the most like genuine way like from an admiration place rather than like i don’t know that it can just that that phrase can have multiple meanings and i i want to stress that like in the best ways possible i’m so proud of you” #shorts #hollywood #trending #podcast
