The 2025 Academy Awards took place last night, and the ceremony couldn’t have been more star-studded if it tried, with the biggest names in the celebrity world coming together for the prestigious event — including reality star Kylie Jenner, whose boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, was nominated in the Best Actor category for his performance in A Complete Unknown.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past year or so, Kylie and Timothée have been romantically linked since April 2023, and their public appearances have seriously ramped up a gear in recent months thanks to Kylie regularly joining her beau on his awards campaign. Just recently, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the makeup mogul is “very proud” of Timmy’s success and “has been happy to support him throughout this awards season.”

So, it makes sense that last night’s Oscars were no different, with the couple being given two of the best seats in the house as they sat in the very front row for the show.

However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that when it came to Timmy’s big moment, Kylie had moved from her spot beside the nominee, and Timothée’s mom, Nicole Flender, was in her place.

Allowing Nicole to be with her son if he did win his first-ever Academy Award, Kylie moved one row back to the seat behind Timothée just before his category was announced.

And when Timothée was unfortunately not lucky enough to win this time around — the Oscar ended up going to Adrien Brody for his role in The Brutalist — Kylie was on hand to offer her reassurance. In footage taken from inside the venue as Adrien took to the stage, Kylie can be seen leaning forward to wrap her arms around Timothée and give him a quick kiss. As she leans back into her seat, Timmy keeps his arm behind his chair to hold Kylie’s hand.

And Kylie and Nicole weren’t Timothée’s only guests at the Oscars, with the star actually attending with his entire family — including his dad, sister Pauline, and sister’s partner.
