It’s been one week since Timothée Chalamet lost the Oscars’ Best Actor race to Adrien Brody, to the dismay of both Timmy Tim look-alikes and presumably Club Chalamet, despite his serious commitment to the awards circuit. He popped up at after-parties, publicly simped for Viola Davis and Michael Phelps, and sported tiny purses in the name of high fashion. But despite going home empty-handed, Chalamet seems to have bounced back with ease: On Sunday, he and Kylie Jenner were papped looking carefree at the Indian Wells Open, not a trace of a post-Oscars comedown in sight.
The couple, who were first romantically linked in 2023, seemed to be enjoying their free time together, as they took in a match between French player Ugo Humbert and Holger Rune of Denmark. Throughout the event, they were periodically seen holding hands, gazing into each other’s eyes, and chugging their drinks with their arms intertwined. At one point, Jenner snuck a hand into Chalamet’s button down. Something tells me she probably wasn’t paying too much attention to the match.
While PDA is nothing new for these two — they were just seen kissing at the Dolby Theatre during the Oscars — I am still waiting eagerly for Jenner to hard launch Chalamet on her Instagram. I want a flirty mirror selfie, I want a grid post, anything! She won’t even talk about him on The Kardashians. If Kim deigned to bring Pete Davidson on, Timmy can make an appearance, too. I feel as passionate about this as I do about the disappearance of Chalamet’s teeny mustache. So long, little whiskers.
