Kate Middleton’s strength was praised by Prince William in a deeply personal message shared on Instagram to mark her 43rd birthday.
The Princess of Wales is celebrating after a challenging 12 months which saw her stepping back from the public eye after receiving treatment for cancer. Posting on social media in a message signed off ‘W’ to show it was a personal note from William, the Prince wrote, ‘To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you.’
The photograph shared of Catherine alongside the message is nearly released, showing the Princess posing against a white background in a simple pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. The picture was taken by Matt Porteous, who is among the Prince and Princess favourite photographers. He has snapped pictures of the couple and their family on a number of different occasions.
