Homewards launched in six UK locations – Aberdeen, Newport, Lambeth, Belfast, Sheffield and three neighbouring Dorset towns of Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch.
Prince William’s visit included the offices of housing and homelessness charity Shelter Scotland, to meet staff and some of those being helped.
The charity is a member of the Aberdeen coalition of his Homewards project.
The prince has previously said homelessness should not exist in a “modern and progressive society”.
