    1. The irony is that the weight of the bag fillled with gold, is what pulled the lever down. And Beni himself put it there. So literally, his greed killed him. (He also already had gold in bags outside, but went back to get more.)

    2. Gold is death money. Legendary folklore passing down generations is consumable money. Dude Beni could've leave and share his experience with people to get paid but he chose to rot to death with the houseful of gold.
