‘Anora’ wins best picture Oscar, beating out frontrunner ‘The Brutalist’ #shorts

Oscar 2025’s biggest prize was introduced by “When Harry Met Sally” stars Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal, who has hosted the Oscars 9 times.

“Anora” beat out frontrunner “The Brutalist” for the award, a victory perhaps foreshadowed by “Anora” star Mikey Madison’s wins for Best Actress, besting odds-on favorite Demi Moore for her performance in “The Substance.”
