Nobody is talking about H-pylori bacterium but he should consider getting tested for it. It’s no joke and I’ve known two people who got it and GERD symptoms are common with it. Can be treated and if not it can lead to serious problems.

Acid reflux like he had a stroke got his arm blown off heart failure, vascular issues aphasia dementia who cares it’s reflux. He will survive when everyone else turned their deaf ears on me. Only if I had acid reflux maybe I could have an ounce of sympathy zero
GERD is no joke.
I had constant nausea. 24/7. Day and night. Finally went to see the doctor after a few weeks. They ran some tests and it I tested positive for H. Pylori. They prescribed me the eradication therapy and it went away! Retested to make sure it was all gone, and all tests negative. Sometimes a simple issue can be causing major problems and can be resolved with a trip to the doctor.

I had to start taking reflux meds a couple of years ago. Mine got so bad that I was absolutely miserable! Reflux is no joke.

I have that issue, too! I don't like taking medicine, especially a prescription and definitely not for the rest of my life, so instead of going that route, I began eating healthier, limiting spicy foods, and most importantly, not overeating, and it helped me tremendously!

Yes, I have the same thing. It’s horrible. LPR need to change diet & stay top of symptoms. There are some natural remedies such as turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, & acv.
