Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter tour is a family affair. The Texas Holdem singer kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles April 28th with both her 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and 7-year-old Roomie making special onstage appearances. While this marks adorable stage debut, this isn’t Blue’s first foray into the spotlight. Just as she did for her mom’s Renaissance World Tour in 2023, Blue joined Beyonce on stage dancing for various portions of the concert. her performance impressing the crowd which included Aunt Solange Nolles who posted a video of Blue performing to her Instagram stories with a caption quote exactly Nissi Pooh. Though Beyonce wasn’t always crazy in love with the idea of having her daughter dance on stage with her. The Grammy Award winner changed her mind after coming to an agreement with the teen who she shares with her husband Jay-Z. As a 42-year-old recounted in her documentary Renaissance, a film by Beyonce, she says, quote, “I made a deal with her and I said, if you practice and you show the commitment, I’ll let you do one show. I did not think it was an appropriate place for an 11-year-old on a stadium stage. All the things that I had to go through, the obstacles I had to overcome prepared me, and she hasn’t had that struggle.” But Blu’s persistence and dedication impressed her mom, who eventually allowed her to perform at more shows on tour, paying tribute to her daughter, and the energy singer posted a video in May 2023 of Blue’s time on tour, writing in the caption, quote, “My beautiful firstborn. I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel. [Music]
