Malia Obama, Sasha Obama Make Rare Appearance at Party Together | E! News

Malia Obama and Sasha Obama are making a rare appearance together. Michelle Obama and Barack Obama’s daughters, Malia and Sasha, recently step out to attend their friend Destin Conrad’s Love on Digital album release party. In a photo of their outing, the artist shares to Instagram on April 24th. Malia and Sasha pose next to Dustin with Malia wearing a burgundy leather jacket while Sasha opts for a cropped white tank and a pair of low-rise blue jeans. Destin captions the photo along with several other snaps from the celebrations. I got to celebrate Love on Digital twice with my loved ones in LA and New York. My heart is so full and my album comes out tonight. Recently, the former first lady of the United States reveals that keeping her and Barack Obama’s daughters out of the tabloids during his presidency became especially challenging when they entered their teenage years. Michelle tells Kelly Ripa during an April 29th appearance on SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off camera with Kelly Ripa, “That was a lot of work, and it got harder as they got older.” The 61-year-old goes on to discuss how Malia and Sasha, who were 10 and seven, respectively, when Barack Obama took office in 2008, experienced things for the first time in the public eye. They had to drive and they had to go to prom and they were on teams and they traveled to other schools and they had to do college searches and they went to parties and they had drinks and they tried out smoking and they did all the things.
