Like if we’re a cult, we are the worst cult in histories of all cults. Justin Bieber’s pastor is speaking out on his church’s cult accusations. The singer’s longtime friend and spiritual adviser, Judah Smith, posted part of his sermon to Instagram on May 2nd, detailing a recent run-in with paparazzi amid headlines surrounding his Christian community church home. Well, look, I’m not going to lie to you. This was a first for me. Uh, I got out of my car and was immediately surrounded by paparazzi. That’s a first for me. Um, and I was like, “No, guys, my friend’s not here.” All of a sudden, this nice lady with her camera turned on her camera. She goes, “So, is this a cult or not?” And I was like, “Oh my word, I wasn’t expecting that question.” Judah’s unexpected interrogation inspired him to joke about his church landing the cult label. Um, so guys, if you could bring the snakes out. Um, we got some blood. All right, Judah, you can’t start saying these things. People are recording you right now. I’m looking at Jason. He’s like, “This is not good PR.” But, um, yeah, that’s that that’s a first for me. In fact, Judah, who’s been part of the Grammy winner’s inner circle for a decade, said there’s one major reason why he’s confused by the accusation.
