Kelsey Grammer Shares His Sister Karen’s Final Moments Before Being Fatally Stabbed 42 Times

Kelsey Grammer is sharing his late sister’s final moments. 50 years after Karen Grammer was murdered in Colorado, the actor is honoring her memory in his new book, Karen, a Brother Remembers, set to release May 6th. with Kelsey explaining to people in an interview published May 2nd how writing the book helped him mourn his younger sister’s death saying for a long time the grief was so dominant that I couldn’t access happiness the book helped me get to a new place with that 18-year-old Karen was gang raped and fatally stabbed 42 times in July 1975 by spree killer Freddy Glenn and two accompllices with Kelsey detailing in his upcoming book that in the moments following the stabbing per police report, Karen knocked on a trailer door in a desperate attempt to find help. In the process, she fell backward and crawled 400 ft from where she had been stabbed, documenting the tragedy in the bloody fingerprints and knee imprints she left behind. Freddy Glenn was later arrested for Karen’s murder and is currently serving a life sentence in prison. And while Kelsey struggled about whether or not to share his sister’s horrific final moments with the world, he ultimately knew it had to be done. Telling the outlet, “There is something beneficial in knowing the truth. I wanted to breathe life into Karen and welcome her into the world. We were Kelsey and Karen, brother and sister. [Music]
