Dylan O’Brien’s sibling is speaking out after a 2024 interview featuring the Teen Wolf star recirculated online in which Dylan says he is quote grateful to have trans people in his life like his younger sibling Jules O’Brien. His sibling clarified that he hasn’t heard from Dylan in quote over a year. Writing in the comment section under a May 1st post, “He didn’t check in when I had top surgery. He didn’t even wish me happy birthday last week. The glad I could deepen his experience in this world and make the world love him that much more. In the reference vulture interview, which is from last January, Dylan said that having queer people in his life helped him form not only his day-to-day life, but also his role in the movie Pony Boy, which follows a gender non-conforming character. I I I have a a trans non binary sibling, you know, and and I know people in my personal life as well who are queer, and I am so grateful for how much it deepens my experience in this world. Jules also went on to slam Dylan for referring to them as non-binary, noting they are transmasculine. Enews has reached out to Dylan’s rep for comment regarding his siblings remarks, but has not yet heard back. [Music]

Some people just want attention
So! So what he hasnt spoken to you. Does that mean you run to the news… I think not.
Honestly, it happens sometimes. I haven’t spoken to a couple of my siblings in some time. Some people think just because your family you have to put up with disrespect or toxic behavior forever, and that’s not true. Some of us aren’t blessed in the family department like others.
The fact that he made this public a few months after the release of this interview when it went viral again shows that he just wants attention, and it has nothing to do with wanting to reconect. People getting slamed for mispeaking regarding trans is the reason people prefer to not say anything or get tired of being corrected all the time. Its like they want to find a reason to be offended. There's a reason people have lost patience.
Thank God he never came back on teen Wolf 🐺😂😅
What is trans masculine?
I speak to my older sibling once every couple of months haven’t seen him in three years we live in different states life can get busy it happens doesn’t mean siblings don’t care about eachother think the sibling just wants attention why bring it up now talk to him privately.
It’s heartbreaking when public praise doesn’t match private actions.
Sometimes its best to love them from afar. Some people are truly too much work, and too much stress to deal with. That doesn't mean that there isn't love there. (Not saying that this is the case, but there are many valid reasons to not deal with your sibling)
I thought his sister was older?
Sorry, is he/she/them brother now? I just now he has one older sibling. I heard some negative stuff about his girlfriend. Don’t know if that has anything to do with this.
1. Julz is older than Dylan by a year. and 2. I haven't spoken to my brother or sister since 2017. it happens.
