Emma Watson didn’t actually film this famous Harry Potter scene. During Chamber of Secrets, Hermione accidentally puts a cat hair in Polyu’s potion, leading to her turning into a cat. Emma actually had an allergic reaction to the glue used to attach the mask. This led to her stunt double acting out the scene with the lines being dubbed after the fact. Additionally, the original cat was supposed to be Ginger until Chris Columbus changed it to gray because ginger was too colorful.
