Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update revisits one of its most not safe for work moments. During the comedy show’s season 50 finale, May 17th, Weekend Update hosts Colin Jo and Michael Chay take part in their traditional joke swap when a surprise guest drops by the desk. I want to take this opportunity to apologize to someone I hurt. Uh, Scarlet, can you come out here? I don’t like this. You know, last time we did joke swap, I made Colin do some tasteless jokes comparing your vagina to Costco roast beef. Yes, I remember that. Back in December, Michael wrote a crude joke for Colin to read about wife Scarlett Johansson that went viral. And it appears the couple are now taking their revenge. Well, the fact is I was just lashing out because I’m jealous. I’ve never even seen a human vagina. And notice I said human because I once spent the summer on a farm. You feel me? However, there’s no bad blood between the co-anchors as Colin’s bit for Michael then ends with some hilariously heartfelt words. And Colin, I’m sorry too because I owe you everything. A when Colin discovered me, I was selling crack outside the Bronx. And now look at me selling crack outside the American Girl doll store. I’ve told thousands of jokes on Update and gotten dozens of laughs, but I’ve never said the three most important words of all. I love you. Come on. [Music]
