[Applause] And we’re back at the AMAs. There are moments in your journey as an artist when you see someone take things to a whole new level. For me, one of those big moments came came very early in my career when I was picked to be in Janet Jackson’s That’s the Way Love Goes video. Janet gave a lot of young girls like me the blueprint for how to be a strong female artist in this business. Nearly 40 years ago, she took control of her own creative destiny and she’s become a leading force in our rhythm nation. Janet literally grew up on the American Music Awards and tonight she is back to light up the stage with her first performance anywhere on TV in seven years. I cannot wait for this. Alot of haters was saying this broadcast wasn't going too go nowhere. How wrong were they it was the most watched show on Monday which of course was memorial day. The viewership was up 34% from the last broadcast in 2022 .The show got 4.73 million viewers worldwide .Goes too show jennifer lopez is still a top name in the entertainment industry. She still beautiful sexy and confident. Everything u need too have a top host .Congrats Jlo !
