And you may not know this, the superstar musician who recently took full authorship of her music getting her masters from her back catalog just went out to dinner with a very famous actress. No, not her. On Thursday night in New York City, Travis Kelsey’s girlfriend had a lovely meal with Dakota Johnson replaced. And things professionally are not much better for Cryen Ryan’s wife. Her beauty brand is having a full implosion. Puck, the very wellrespected industry newsletter, says that Target, which sells her hair care line, Blake Brown exclusively, is more than disappointed. Last year, it was projected that Blake Brown Beauty would take in $100 million at Target in 2025. Unfortunately, a Target source tells Puck that Blake Brown Beauty instead is going to make $15 million this year. It went from a $100 million brand to a $15 million brand. Ouch. Justin Belony. Additionally, News Nation and my friend Paula Frolic there, who used to work at Page Six, is reporting that her booze company, Betty Booze, is also struggling. Oops. And this is not all conjecture. The alleged nose job recipient confirmed it herself in her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. Ben Affleck’s very very very close former co-star said that sales for her new hair brand plummeted due to the social manipulation campaign against her. She literally stated in the complaint, quote, “Miss Lively had depressed retail sales of Blake Brown products by 56 to 78%.” And things are so bad and she’s aware of these reports. So, the oxygen inhaler is doing her part to stop the ship from sinking. But is it too late? The critically unaclaimed actress took to her social media to share the following. Look at this. A a photo from Target. Sold out. Blake Brown Beauty. There’s only a couple of products left. It’s going fast. She claims we are all overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude over the demand of our hair and body refresh mists. Get yours while you can. It might be doing well today because it’s on sale. That’s right, major sale. And her products are not expensive. High five for that. She adds, “Seeing the Target shelves sold out of not just our hair and body mist, but the whole line is so meaningful to us. You have no idea. You have no idea how floored and grateful we are at Blake Brown Beauty. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you truly.” And cuz she was in promo mode, the penguin expert wanted to remind us that she narrated this show, Secrets of the Penguins for National Geographic and Disney Plus, blah blah blah blah blah. Narrating Secrets of the Penguins is one of my favorite jobs I’ve been lucky enough to have, and I’m really curious how things are going to go for her moving forward. My prediction is these opportunities are going to start to diminish greatly, if they haven’t already. but she’ll still work so long as she can use her much more famous and wealthy husband’s money to produce her own projects. So, the Blake Brown beauty sale ends, I think, tomorrow. Run to Target to make sure you can get it if you’re lucky enough to get one of her products still on the shelves.
