Kim Kardashian Graduates Law School After 6 Years | E! News

[Applause] Kim Kardashian is done keeping up with her studies. The reality star announces May 21st that she has finally graduated from law school after 6 years. Marking the academic milestone with a graduation ceremony and party surrounded by family, friends, and her legal mentors, including attorney and advocate Ban Jones. uh 6 years ago, 7 years ago, when you’re working on criminal justice, you were not embraced by anybody. You were working with people who were thrown away, often by their own families. So, she wanted to help, not when it was easy, not when there was a popular White House occupant in this town, but when it was hard, when it wasn’t trendy, when it wasn’t cool. Kim then takes to the podium Lwood style to share a few words on her academic journey. Want to thank I mean all of you guys have been on this this journey with me. It did start with Van and I. We um well, it started with the the Twitter video that I saw that popped up and I just was like dumbfounded. Kim started law school back in 2020, enrolling in a 4-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm, going on to take the baby bar exam three times before finally passing on her fourth attempt in December 2021. According to multiple outlets, she then took the multi-state professional responsibility exam in March, a crucial step in becoming a licensed lawyer. And while the 44 yearear-old can’t call herself a practicing attorney just yet, as she still has to pass the California State Bar Exam, that isn’t stopping her family from celebrating her major milestone. with younger sister Khloe Kardashian posting a sweet video praising Kim’s yearslong journey to follow in their late father Robert Kardashian’s career footsteps. Years and years in the making. I’m so proud of her. Um this was just such a cool accomplishment and I’m so proud. This was really inspiring and motivating. [Music]
