Well done …honestly, I was not expecting straight forward reporting presented respectfully and movingly. I was expecting a short notification and a backhanded jab mocking Phil's faith…and my faith…For having that mindset, I apologize…sincerely sorry for clicking on this video with a similar mindset I was expecting to radiate from the short production….This 1 minute video has reminded this older man that I still have walls standing around me that I had once entombed mself within. I do not understand how people or anyone would give this a thumbs down… in our world, perception is reality and perhaps always has been…even so, Phil talked the talk and walked the wlk emphasizing FAMILY, LOVING AND BEING KIND TO ONE ANOTHER, DO NOT PLACE WALLS TO KEEP PEOPLE OUT OR YOURSELF INSIDE AND MOSTLY HE WAS A MAN OF FAITH…FAITH, WHICH SO MANY HAVE TWISTED INTO A NARRATIVE THAT DOESN'T REFLECT THE GOSPEL aka THE TEACHINGS AND WORDS OF JESUS…I know America will not survive if there isn't more bold men and women, of all colors and background who will come together as children of God… As Phil stated many times, people are scared to death…scared to death of dying because they do not have hope…they do not have a rock they can be anchored too…and through their worry they are bitter, mean spirited, unethical and to be blunt, many are jerks, narcessestic and hypocritical…yet, aren't we all…. whether someone has strong convictions about their faith, especially Christians or if someone learns a person is a Christian and immediately mocks, chastises or silently distances themselves without ever providing the person a chance to be a friend…. whatever side of the fence so to speak someone is on…there is one side standing on a solid rock…the other side is ever shifting sand…and as each day passes…and with each breath taken…we are one breath closer to death…there is no escape from physical death…but I believe and I know there is more than becoming dust in the wind… being a Godly man in my case doesn't equate with being less than or void of fun…nor does it mean I will not struggle as I am currently and in fact Christians are told, for many of us our lives will be a constant struggle…but remain faithful…remain true… and walk the walk… My father was a man like that…Phil Robertson was a man like that…and though I fail often I certainly try and am confident when God decides to send for me that I will never struggle again… I know this is ripping Miss kaye and Si into pieces even with this knowledge…as are his sons and daughter… God Bless them all…RIP Papaw Phil… I have no doubt you are Happy happy happy as was God when you entered heaven…
