Jackie Tohn Talks Working With Leighton Meester in ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2

So, season two coming, baby. What did you think when you read these scripts? I laughed. I think I’m really excited most for season two because when you only have, you know, 10 episodes of a half hour show for season one, you how multi-dimensional can we get? We’re establishing everybody sort of as who they are. And then I think in season two, you made the mold and now you can break it. Oh, this character is this way, but is she also this way? And it’s really exciting to get to play uh a lot more angles of a person and really like open up a person who she is. Yeah. And Leighton joining you guys. How’s that? Did you know that she has a pretty face and a great personality? Oh, okay. I think a lot of people Yeah. might think she’s bad to be around and horrible to look at, but my opinion, I mean, she’s such a light. It’s just such It’s so ridiculous. She’s wonderful to have around. One of my favorites was like watching her and Adam act like they don’t know each other. It’s really cute. It’s just like they’re in a scene and you’re just like, “Oh, haha. I know a secret, but everybody knows that they have children and they are not strangers to one another.” Yeah. How are you? Good. How you doing? How is this season gonna compare to the first? You feel like I mean that’s up for the fans to say. You know what’s interesting? It’s like it’s not like when we were making season 1, we knew that this was going to be, if you’ll excuse me, a cultural juggernaut, which is the words people use, which makes me giggle. So, it’s like we didn’t Nobody knew. And so, we love season 2. We hope everybody loves it and I think it’s going to be, you know, the energy is there, the cast is there, the writing is there, it’s all there. So, well, fingies crossed. I would not have done that if I was playing. You guys are acting chill and Oxar Isaac is right there. Thank you so much. Bye.
