Jessica Biel Breaks Down Her Iconic Red Carpet Looks & Style Evolution

[Music] oh that’s a very good question i guess I’m enough i bet everybody would probably say this but I guess advice I would give my younger self is to just not care about what anybody else thinks don’t worry about it just be you be confident my style has changed quite a bit over the years you know I can think back to tan lines and crop tops um low-waisted jeans um with zippers that big you know that vibe to now oversized blazers and widelegg pants and I mean it’s like run a gamut of styles throughout the years you got to go through those you got to go through those crop top years i would never throw away my super thin super short brown Chanel leather jacket gosh I don’t know it was a beautiful white dress it was either to the Emmys or the I think it was the year I was nominated i don’t know i can’t remember exactly but that one I loved and also the beautiful gold really like sculptural dress with a beautiful Tiffany’s gold like choker collar necklace thing that I wore when Justin performed and opened up the [Music] Oscars um when I’m in the gym you know on the gain train the role that surprised me the most maybe the candy roll in Candy was pretty surprising it was funnier than I thought it was going to be even amidst a really intense violent experience and show we were making it was weird and strange and strangely funny um something I learned early on set that has stayed with me forever this is a simple thing but it’s how to get up out of a chair and sit back down into a chair smoothly it sounds really strange and really like who cares about that but if you don’t know how to do that smoothly then the camera can’t follow you and you won’t be on camera so I learned that on 7th Heaven Days and I’ve never forgotten it maybe playing Vera Miles in the Hitchcock movie with Anthony Hopkins and Scarlett Johansson was a small part but for me it was a big deal and an amazing opportunity to work with those people and to get to just live in the echelon of like that amount of creative talent you know no there’s not a role that I’ve turned down that still lingers in my mind but there are definitely roles that I auditioned for and that I was coveting and dying to get that I never got that still lingers in my mind [Music]
