During the siege of the Skrulls, Kree starfighter Firth (Brie Larson) becomes an unfortunate captive. The Skrulls try to explore Forsythe’s memories, eventually discovering a past that even Forsythe herself didn’t know about, and learning that a woman named Dr. Wendy Lawson is in possession of a time engine that they are desperate to get their hands on. Taking advantage of her opponent, Fuse, who possesses powerful superpowers, escapes from her bonds and flees to Earth, code-named C-53, where her lost memories took place. Before long, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Agent Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) is at her doorstep, and the Skrulls who follow close behind cause a major uproar unlike anything the people of Earth have ever seen before.
In the process, Agent Fury realizes the gravity of the situation and helps Forsythe recognize himself for who he was. The stubborn Forsyth, at last, finds what he really needs to protect…
