Due to the design of aircraft and the placement of cockpit window's. Aim of a lazor into the window of an air craft is almost impossible because of the angle from the vantage point of the person on the surfacr, the angle of the window and it location on the craft. Though if your above it such as on a hill over look an LZ, yes you could but the moment the craft is at you altitude. With the exception of only a few small aircraft, it's impossible to do.
I mean, stand accross the street from a tall building, and aim at the tenth floor window. Anyone looking out the window wouldn't see the beam. And that's only plus or minus a few feet of a 100.

I'm not well-versed in lasers, but the words of wisdom I've heard is that if you point a laser at a plane, there is now a large column of light pointing back at your exact location. Yes, you will very likely be found and prosecuted.
Unless, like, you dress up in some ninja gear or some shit and go out of your way to be somewhere well away from where you live, in which case you're just an asshole.
But how would they know?
Point is – don't be a dickhead and point lasers at the plane.
