juror number six is officially dismissed from the Shaun Diddy Combmes trial the news comes a week after Judge Arun Sub Romanian raised concerns due to inconsistencies with the male juror’s living situation and he was officially let go from the main panel of jurors June 16th sub Romanian said the juror a 41-year-old black male provided a conflicting account of where he lived which is either in New York City within the bounds of the Southern District of New York or with his girlfriend in New Jersey after the dismissal more concerns arose including conversations the juror may have allegedly had with a colleague about Diddy’s case the juror who had his phone confiscated by the judge June 13th was replaced by someone from the alternate pool a 57-year-old male accountant from Westchester with the former juror number six being a 41-year-old black man Diddy’s defense argued in a 14-page appeal filed June 15th that there was quote no valid basis to dismiss him and removing him would affect the diversity of the jury the letter notes in part quote “We understand the court has refused to find any discriminatory motive in the government’s actions with respect to its preemptary strikes or this motion however we respectfully and regrettably disagree.” However the judge addressed the argument emphasizing quote “This jury does not raise those concerns the process to get a jury worked and worked wonderfully.” Follow e online for the latest updates in the Shaun Diddy Combmes case [Music]
