I remember the cake scandal Miley hadn’t fully shed her Disney image yet and was still considered kid friendly which is why she got the role in the first place. Those pictures leaking were a shock and went viral so of course it was a bad look. Miley says it wasn’t vulgar but it indeed was she posing next to it with her tongue out basically doing a BJ pose. In this industry your image matters. It’s harsh but it’s the truth.

Both sides are right on this. Technically she is absolutely right, it’s her personal life, had nothing to do with the film or the character/role. But the public knowing about this and being used to say ‘someone who does this shouldn’t be involved in a kids film’, makes sense but shouldn’t cost them the job. At the end of the day, the studio owns the project and they can make whatever decision they want…good, bad, fair or unfair.
