    anne Burrell Food Network star and the host of Worst Cooks in America has passed away reps for the star announced her death in a release obtained by People magazine anne died on the morning of Tuesday June 17th at her home in Brooklyn New York her family says in a statement per people Anne was a beloved wife sister daughter stepmother and friend her smile lit up every room she entered anne’s light radiated far beyond those she knew touching millions across the world though she is no longer with us her warmth spirit and boundless love remain eternal she was best known as the longtime host of Worst Cooks in America where her passion for food and mentorship turned kitchen hopefuls into capable cooks wow that was really taxing wasn’t it i just got to be confident because the Still not clean oh my god oh my god this is like Groundhog Day over here chef Ann watching me like a hawk is just a bit much anna survived by her husband Stuart Claxton whom she wed on October 16th 2021 and his son Javier as well as her mother Marlene and her sister Jane her children Isabella Amelia and Nicholas and her brother Ben [Music]

      My love for the Food Network died off years ago as their programming started going down the gutter, getting rid of great shows (e.g. "Good Eats") and replacing them with all mediocre cookie-cutter ones ("let's see who can make the best dish in this amount of time!"), and eventually I canceled my cable altogether. I did enjoy Anne more than most of the other stars on the channel though, and I enjoyed her lessons as well as commentary on "Worst Cooks" when I watched it. She seemed like a nice person in real life too. Such a shame to go so early. R.I.P.

      My heart hurts… Truly one of my favorite TV chefs of all time. I used to always watch her show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and loved her cooking style so much. I'm really at a loss for words. 😔

      Shocked!!!!!….for her passing.😢😢She’s one of my favorites in Foods Network. She always made the viewers alive, bright & smile because of her wittiness, jolinesse & cheerful voice. Her spiky hair was her trademark too. She will be sorely missed. Ms. Anne, fly high in heaven. Rest in Paradise. Sincerest condolences to her whole family.❤❤❤
