kiki Palmer is returning to her first love music with a brand new album called Just Kiki on Friday we headed to the Big Apple to get all of the scoop from the superstar herself welcome to the Kiki Show and tonight you’re in for a treat you’re taking us on a really personal journey what sides of you are we going to see in this album in this body of work well I think you like get to obviously meet and be with the Kiki that everybody always knows and and and has loved but then also you get to meet the person behind that the the one who’s watching the audience watch her the visual album 2 is gorgeous it’s gorgeous walk me through what that process was like for you we take the the audience through these music video vignettes that follow my experience in this moment in my life from becoming a mother and the fallout with my son’s dad but then also reclaiming my identity so it’s a lot of big themes but at the core you know it’s just I’m just a girl i’m just Kiki baby Lou makes an appearance he’s so cute do you have any like roles that you’re excited for him to see you want to show him like very excited for him to see Key to be very excited cuz he likes words too you have another movie coming out called The Pickup you Pete Davidson Eddie Murphy what a cast oh my god tell me about this crew i can imagine you guys had a lot of fun on set we had a lot of fun it was so cool also to just see Eddie and Pete go back and forth and just like their comedic banter i was excited to work with Eddie he was so much fun he literally reminds me of like an uncle [Music]
