    1. They could do a wig with the highlights so that her real hair doesn't get damaged 👱‍♀️ The stylist may also want to be recognized for Carolyn's signature hair color

    2. Her real ‘child‑of‑the‑beach’ blonde was painstakingly crafted—now it's reduced to a flat ashy shade? Brad Johns isn't just nitpicking, he helped define her look. Authenticity matters, especially with icons. 🌟

    3. In my observation, I notice this often in American movies made in recent times. Historical accuracy goes by the wayside when it comes to hair styling, hair coloring, etc. Even when there is an attempt to be somewhat accurate, the hairstylists apparently are not trained to recreate the original hairstyle of the time period. I think I might notice this more because I have been a cosmetologist for decades. In Britain, there continues to be attention paid to correctly and historically re-creating hairstyles of the time period. The same amount of attention goes to wardrobe and costuming.
If so much attention and expense is going into a production that is looking back upon a historical time then why not try to be accurate? It is part of doing justice to the persons portrayed, along with their life that is being documented. This is not a matter of a colorist being too picky. It is so much more.

    4. I believe the colorist was issued a Cease and Desist order by Caroline back in the day – please google it. I am sure she would be unhappy that he is commenting again.

    5. While she did seek legal action against him, it was in the form of a cease-and-desist order, not a lawsuit, according to SFGATE. Johns had publicly discussed her hair and grooming habits after she ceased being his client, which she found irritating, according to SFGATE. Her husband, John F. Kennedy Jr., then intervened, leading to the legal action to stop Johns from using her name and information.

    6. The actors hair screams Gwen Stefani straight iron. Carolyn had sandy blonde hair with highlights, and was natural and had natural waves NOT straightened and flat.
