my entire growing up i say this to her all the time now she was so almond mom allison Hulker’s daughter is shedding light on her mom’s parenting style during the June 22nd episode of her podcast Between Us that she co-host with her daughter Wesley the 17-year-old gives insight into her mother’s parenting style revealing that Allison was a bit of a health junkie my entire growing up I say this to her all the time now she was so almond mom do you know what that is where it’s like like she was like you have to eat greens it’s chicken every night and for her part Allison who also shares kids Maddox and Zia with late husband Steven Twitch boss couldn’t deny the accusations with Wesley i was like “Okay we’re going to do this i’m going to be like a good mom.” And like I at that moment thought by being a good mom that meant like everything was healthy i was researching everything that was in our kitchen and I really like I was really diligent about And I think in a lot of ways it helped me though i was a little extreme in it and I don’t know if it was for the right reasons but I did want to have like a healthy lifestyle and I was like “Oh I’m going to be the best mom if I do this.” And it it was a really good choice for me because it educated me more but then I feel like I was like “Everything comes with balance.” After all when Allison learned that Wesley would enjoy many gas station snacks at any opportunity the professional dancer realized that balance was better than restriction so now it’s like there’s a lot of healthy options in our home but I also allow them to be children and have fast food cuz also I found a little more joy in it too so I’m just teaching now what I’m trying to do is like okay with Wesley it was a little strict and with Maddox and Zia and all of us I want to be a little more well balanced [Music]
