New Kids On The Block React to Backstreet Boys’ Las Vegas Residency Competition | E! News
welcome back new Kids on the Block has a hit pack residency it is brand new the Right Stuff kicked off in Las Vegas over the weekend and we headed to Sin City to chat with the iconic boy band [Music] the entire show is going to be unique we are crafting it specifically for Vegas and adding things that in many ways we can only do in Vegas and are inspired by Vegas on the other hand it’s going to be a first look for some people who aren’t fans who maybe are in Vegas and say “Let’s go see a show.” Launching their first ever Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM definitely puts this boy band in good company it’s nice when you know people oh what’s what’s next and you’re playing you know oh where you playing i always go same place Asher played in in Bruno just to just to set the let’s get this out of the way okay you know I was here oh okay you know what I mean this sounds funny but we’ve played prisons we have played prisons and when we played a prison we were playing for the prisoners we weren’t doing a show for the girls down the block at the church hall you know what I’m saying you know we play for the house that we’re playing for and I think we’re gonna get off on that in a little way and it’s just going to be a beautiful wonderful kickoff we almost ended up in the prison by the way but do these season new kids feel any competition with a certain other boy band residing in Vegas this summer we don’t talk to them they can take their big fat spear and stick it up no I’m kidding we We love those guys there’s no competition with us [Music]

I mean this with no disrespect towards the backstreet boys but I've been a fan of New kids on the block from the very beginning and there were the original OG of Boy Band but anyway congratulations guys on your residency in Vegas love you guys Blockhead for life 🤖❤🎉🤩🔥
No disrespect to New Kids but there really isn’t any competition between the two. I like both, I saw the Nkotbsb tour 10 times. But BSB is playing at the Sphere with a capacity of 20000 and Nkotb has a capacity of 5000. Nkotb were one of the firsts but BSB took it to a whole other level Worldwide. Im sure both residencies will be awesome and successful.
Gotta say I'm a from the beginning Blockhead…I'd go to see NKOTB over Backstreet any day
I guess Vegas is becoming a Mecca and people are getting their second shot at a nice paycheck. I appreciate the hustle.
The Backstreet Boys have played in Vegas before this is not their first residency, and they were asked to play at to do a residency at the Sphere! And they had to continue adding dates because of the popularity of it.
