unfortunately right after that she got news that she needs to get open heart surgery brooke Highland is sharing an update on her mom Kelly’s health journey dance Mom’s alum Broo Highland shares that her mother Kelly is undergoing open heart surgery just 2 months after completing her second round of treatment for breast cancer the 27-year-old shares details about her mom’s health in this June 24th Tik Tok video she has a Tik Tok but she doesn’t like to post so I figured I would update you guys so you know what’s going on and you can send all of your prayers her way kelly who shares Brooke Josh and Paige with ex-husband Randy Highland is preparing for a variety of possible approaches from doctors to treat what Brooke refers to in her video as a leaking heart she was originally supposed to have surgery on Friday but now she has to go in tomorrow they are hoping to go in robotically but if they aren’t able to reach her heart then they will have to go in the traditional way terrified her heart is currently leaking brooke who appeared on Dance Moms from 2011 until 2014 alongside her mom and sister goes on to detail what her family has been told about Kelly’s heart condition and I think she’s had a few different opinions from doctors some say that she’s had it since she was younger and her valve just doesn’t close properly others have said that it might be a side effect of the cancer because it could be a tear i don’t really know she’s getting it fixed thankfully some of the scans she had gotten for her cancer actually showed that she had this which is a blessing i’m going to meet her right now um we’re doing a little dinner we send all your love thoughts and prayers to my mom [Music]
