anna Wintor’s reign as editor-inchief at Vogue is coming to an end after holding the title for nearly 40 years the fashion icon announces she will be hiring a new head of editorial content for American Vogue according to NBC News her replacement has not yet been named a spokesperson for NAS the mass media company who owns Vogue tells NBC News June 26th that while Anna will be looking to fill the role she’s held for decades this doesn’t mean she’ll be leaving the Vogue family revealing that the 75-year-old will be staying on as the chief content officer for Conde Nast and global editorial director for Vogue as chief content officer Anna oversees a number of the media company’s brands including AD Allure Bone Appetite NAS Traveler Glamour GQ Tatler Vanity Fair Wired and World of Interiors this career change for Anna comes after she first took on the role of editor-inchief at the Fashion Bible in 1988 going on to transform American Vogue’s public image as well as making the Met Gala the starstudded event we know it as today co-chairing the night hosted by the fashion mag nearly every year since 1995 [Music]
