chariss Therone is getting in on the Bezos wedding bashing while hosting the fifth annual block party for her charity the Charize Therone Africa Outreach Project in Los Angeles June 28th the actress pokes fun at the nuptuuals of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez as well as their guests saying during her speech at the fundraiser per the Hollywood Reporter “I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding but that’s okay because they suck and were cool.” And while the Oscar winner may just be joking she’s not the only one taking a jab at the Amazon founders extravagant celebration in Venice Italy former Today Show host Katie Kurrick shared some harsh words of her own regarding the couple’s lavish star set at ceremony commenting on a now deleted Instagram post featuring Vog’s photo shoot of Lauren in her wedding dress she wrote “Welcome to the8s when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled apparently Tacky is back.” However the criticism surrounding their big day doesn’t seem to be affecting Jeff and Lauren with the former journalist telling Vogue in an interview published June 27th that she’s just focusing on transitioning into the next stage of her life saying “I’m grateful to be stepping into a different role and I don’t take it lightly i’m happy that I’m getting married and I get to spend my life with my best friend someone who sees me someone who adores me someone who I adore i am the luckiest woman on the planet [Music]
