The Summer I Turned Pretty: Lola Tung Teases “Bittersweet” Final Season | E! News

The cast of The Summer I Turn Pretty are getting ready to say goodbye to Cousins Beach. And before the third and final season premieres on Prime Video July 16th, we caught up with the cast. First loves are important, but they’re not as important as lasts. belly. I loved him in a way that you can only really do the first time around. But that’s the past. Jeremiah, he’s my future. There is heartache that comes with love and with big love stories and with complicated love stories. And um I hope that they are satisfied with the story and the journey because Jenny did such a good job with it and and um we had so much fun filming it and I I feel very proud of it. When I’m with J, everything is easier. But everywhere I go, there’s a memory of Conrad. We’re getting married. I’m sorry, what? Life’s too short not to spend it with the person that you love. While we have to wait to see Jeremiah and Belly’s fate, Gavin is married in real life. So, what’s the biggest relationship lesson he’s learned from the show? I think ultimately the big lesson of of this show is to communicate, like overcommunicate. And where do they think their characters will be in 10 years? Conrad will have quit everything and become an astronaut. I hope she’s living her life, traveling the world. I I think I would love to see Jeremiah kind of really taking life um by the horns and just coming into his own and really discovering who he is and and walking with that. [Music] What do you expect to happen? she’s going to blow up her whole life just because you suddenly remember she exists. There’s so much weight and so many feelings and we keep saying bittersweet, but it’s it’s the truth because I mean I started this when I was 18 and now I’m 22. Um it changed my life and I think it changed all of our lives and that’s something that you I I will always look back on so fondly and will always be so grateful for. [Music]
