Kevin Jonas Lost His Money During Jonas Brothers Hiatus | E! News

Thankfully for life in general, like we had a second shot. Kevin Jonas is revealing the time he lost the majority of his money on Louiswis House podcast, The School of Greatness. The 37-year-old musician and his brothers Nick and Joe spoke on their life’s journey with the Jonas Brothers band and beyond. When asked about his greatest life lesson, Kevin says, “I’ve seen the beginning of the success to financial success, not knowing what money really was and understanding it to not having to losing almost all of it, seeing bad bad business deal.” Yeah. No, I had a um you almost lost all your money. Like, yeah, most of it like down to the one like 10% left. The singer then goes on to explain how his financial investment became a financial failure about nine years ago. um invested in uh in a bunch of uh property and doing other things and I was building at the time and sadly it just wasn’t the right partnership if you know what I’m saying. Can’t really get too much into it. I get it. During his musical hiatus, Kevin founded the real estate development and construction company Jonas Burnerner with the mission of building luxury homes in the Manhattan area. He also invested in several other companies, including a food app he founded called Ude. speaking on the lessons of his mistakes, Kevin says. But the sad part of it is uh learned I’ve learned a lot of lesson um in that. Um and thank thankfully for life in general like we had a second shot and bite the apple with the band coming back together and it actually was like kind of fortuitous in a way like I learned this lesson. Never wanted to learn it but I did. Um it’s a painful lesson. Uh but then at the same time re-evaluated how to approach life and um from that perspective and looking to the future and at the same time was able to really feel honored that we could have a second shot at it.
